This week on Reprezent, Antonia and Niellah spoke about violence in the capital and the debate that has sparked within the drill music scene, women in rap who are absolutely killing it, the commemorated the passing of Prince and they were joined by Rinse FM host, Emerald.
During the hot topic this week, the two addressed the current violence happening on all corners of London, and the recent press about what and how drill music might have to played into it and how Puma’s recent trap house party exacerbated the glamorisation of poverty in working class culture.
In honour of Cardi B’s debut album, they spun some new tunes from some of the best women in rap including Lady Leshurr, Azealia Banks, Flohio and Ms Banks in the Top 5.
