Zehrah Hasan

Zehrah Hasan is the Policy and Campaigns Assistant at human rights campaigning group – Liberty. She works on topics such domestic abuse, immigration detention, abortion rights and LGBTQIA+ equality. Zehrah has previously held legal, policy and campaigning roles related to women’s human rights and gender equality. She has specialised in assisting BAME survivors of abuse and exploitation both in the UK and in South Africa. She has also been a legal researcher on migrants and asylum seekers’ rights, as well as Director of a prison education charity where she taught adult and young offenders.
