AN ONLINE AND PRINT PUBLICATION COMMITTED TO SHARING PERSPECTIVES FROM WOMEN AND NON-BINARY PEOPLE OF COLOUR

The first radio show after The Royal Visit. Yeah. Mad.

This week, the gal-dem gals are back at it again and better than ever, ready to gas the Reprezent Radiowaves post-Royal Rendevous. From forced spuds to stepping on some royal feet, Azadi and Varaidzo divulge the funniest, most awkward encounters that ever had the misfortune of gracing Ms Meghan Markle and HRH Prince Harry’s presence.

But the regality doesn’t end here. Azadi and Varaidzo were also joined by the upcoming Princess of Dancehall, Alicai Harley, who not only played one of her freshest releases but also taught us the importance of choosing between whining and fine dining.

In light of the recent publicity surrounding the scandals of sexual assault in Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and the wider world in general, gal-dem also spoke about #metoo, running us through a timeline of the movement, talking about wider issues of consent, and reflecting on the conversations and dialogues that movements like these can create.

Catch up and tune into the episode by clicking on the Mixcloud link below. As always, the warmest and most loving shout out to Producer Cesca and the Reprezent Team.
